Wow It’s been awhile

I didnt realize how long it has been since I posted. Holidays came and went and it’s already almost Valentines day. Or more important, our 11 year anniversary! I still remember the very first time I saw my husband. He walked into the place that I was waiting tables at the time, it was my first day there, Valentines day actually. I got him some coffee and he the way he looked at me.. he still looks at me like that today .. I can remember walking into the back and telling my best friend that was the man I was going to marry. 11 years later and we are still going strong!
So on to a new topic. I went to a chat host that I go to quite regularly and was in a chat when this girl that I have always been nice to just starts ripping into me quite viciously about how I am a fat fucking ugly bitch and just screaming vile things at me. Sure it hurt, but I KNOW I’m a fat chick. I KNOW how much I weigh and what size I am but .. I always put on makeup and brush my hair and try to look decent around other people because YES people do stare at a 5 ft tall weeble. ANd on top of that I HAVE lost some weight recently and have been trying to be more active and change alot of things. Now mind you she isn’t very thin herself and isn’t the most attractive person herself. Then she goes off on a tirade against this poor pregnant woman that she doesn’t even know calling her ugly and fat and cursing us out …i stopped amidst my anger and I thought.. wow she really is showing people her true character and how hateful people can be. She wound up looking quite ridiculous the way she behaved. I wonder why she feels the need to break people down to make herself look better. Who broke her? What has happened to her to make her so insanely vile and horrid? Sure she is still quite young and has a lot of learning to do but why does she feel the need to make others feel her persistant misery. After a bit I sort of felt sorry for her. She kept telling everyone I know ALL of you are laughing at her too.. but they all felt her immature actions were showing what a sad case SHE is. So the moral of this story is no matter how badly someone berates you , somewhere inside they are broken. Extend kindness and be the better person.. walk away . Don’t mistake my kindess, or refusal to fuel the situation as a weakness , I think it makes me a stronger person. I was capable of controlling my actions.
Now on to the weather portion of this blog
WHAT THE HELL?? Massive snows all up the east coast , high winds and storms it’s CRAZY! As much as I love snow I am ready to see the first flowers start to bloom and getting out into the yard to do some work on my flower beds! My phone is out as we speak which means no work tnite
Ok so I will try to keep this thing updated. What you may find boring I find theraputic!

New Attempts, New Laws, Debates and Music

Hello Boys N Girls! Today we are attempting to make sourdough bread bowls! Now I LOVE Panera Bread and the Broccoli and Cheese Soup there. I figgured I could save a bit of money on my addiction by learning to make it all at home! I got this wonderful starter recipe .. ok it took me 3 tries to get it going.. I wound up having to get a thermometer to get the temp just right. 4th try was a charm!! So I just got done mixing up my first batch of dough ,kneeded it all out , quite theraputic actually! If they turn out ok I am going to make Chicken ,Mushroom,Broccoli Alfredo to put in them. Oh its gonna be so good!!

I love to cook, but I have not made sourdough before so lets hope this little adventure turns out. I shouldnt be wearing this flour for nothing! Ya know i really should get the camera out to document my little journeys. I know it may not be interesting to some of you .Maybe some of you can find some connection with me. But maybe one day my children or possible grandchildren or my nieces and nephews may come across this when they are older and have a chance to see another side of me. Next time we have the kidz over maybe we can make these together. After all, practice makes perfect!

Ok on another topic.. Today they are going to look into passing a medical marijuana law here in NC . Lets pray that they do so that those of us that need it wont be prosectued for choosing our own form of medicine. It is NOT addictive, It is NOT a gate way drug. It IS something that can also help this planet.

Marijuana had never caused cancer, in fact it helps kill cancer cells. It has virtually no side effects.. except …. happy, hungry , sleepy … Think of the jobs it could create, think how the taxation and sale of it could benifit our economy. Anyway , like I said visit that site even if you want to debate it ..we welcome it.

Yes Im in a funk. It’s probably menstrual but still a funk.

So today I have made a discovery. Energy shots suck! Instead of a 6 hr energy boost I have a tummy ache from hell.

So Today I get an email back from my mom. Sometimes I think that she doesnt really read them just skims thru and gives a quick reply. I wish that our relationship was a good one. I dont really know what else to do. Ive invited her many many times to my home, and into my life. Im not the 15 year old screw up any more. I have a beautiful home, a steady job , a wonderful husband. I keep extending the offer and trying so hard but sometimes I feel as if I really dont matter in her eyes. I wonder what she tells other people about me and even what she tells my own child. Oh wait according to her “shes not my daughter” even though I am the one who carried her and tried my best. I was 19 and a struggling teenaged mom with an abusive husband who I was divorcing. I often wonder why she didnt give me another chance for change and help me. Maybe it was her way of getting back at me. No matter what her answer is , the fact is that it still hurts and cut me to the very core. I love my mother and I want a relationship with her.. but she gave up on me many years ago. Holidays are so hard for me..hell daily life is a struggle enough. Many many sleepless nights .Why does it bother me so badly? Mama used to tell me to get an abortion…. and when i ask her if she has told my daughter this, she says yes ..her excuse it was before we knew her. WTF kind of an answer is that? My daughter is 16 now . I cant wait for her to ask ME questions and get the real answers. I hope she realizes that adoption was the right thing no matter how hard. I would have never been good enough for her .. she deserves the world. I never gave my love away . It burns in my heart everyday. One day I hope she will realize how much I love my daughter and how much i missed her.

Well its time for bed its 530 am here on the east coast i gotta find something to soothe my tummy.Gnite Moon

Suspenders for my Underwear. If I ever wrote a book that would be the title of it. In other words , sometimes you need to find a way to cover your ass! This blog will contain adult situations, humor, ramblings, tears and other situations that may offend some. So please if you are easily offended do not read this . I am so far from perfect , my spelling may not always be correct or my punctuation , but I try to be a good person and believe in kindness, but dont take it as weakness. I try to be strong but somedays , I just crumble.

This is blog will be a glimpse of the real me. Somedays will be fun and light, somedays I will be a jagged mess. You will get to see the many moods and sides of me.Maybe even sometimes the twisted side, other times a darker side. Other times it may not make sense at all .Again my blog is not intended for anyone under 21. Maybe it will help people understand me and help me along my journey in this crazy life

My name is Amy , I am a few days shy of my 35th birthday, and I wonder where my life went. What the hell happend to the little girl with big dreams and how did she wind up with such a messed up life. I will warn you now, I have what I call a “swiss cheese” memory . I call it that because so much is missing and there are huge gaping holes in it. I don’t know if that was a survivor mechanisim or if its a genetic / biological reason. And no its not because I smoke marijuana. Sometimes it helps me remember things. I am an avid marijuana activist and do belive it should be legalized.

Im not really sure what else to start with . Its been a long day . Mothers Day and that is one of the hardest holidays for me to deal with and I promise I will share that with you at a later date. Maybe this will become a journal as I discover things inside of me, and as I remember or as I just feel the need to write and find the creativity I lost along the way somehow.

Music is a very important substance in my life and it is something I have always loved. I love all types of music oldies to rap , rock ,metal, old school hip hop, carly simon and Lady Gaga..so much variety.. Isnt that supposed to be the spice of life anyway?
